This is the tessellation I made.
Learning intention:
- explain rotational and reflective symmetry
- use the elements of tessellation in a design
Our task:
Design a duvet for your bed using symmetry and tessellation.
The 3 elements must be present in your duvet design,
and you must be able to identify them in your presentation.

I made this by rotating and reflecting a single picture. When I made this, I wanted to make a design that was simple,
but showed that it was symmetrical. So I went with a lightning bolt in a hexagon.
Teacher comment:
Benjamin, I love the symmetry, and you clearly explain the difference between rotational and reflective symmetry.
If you were to correctly tessellate this design, you should have filled in all the white spaces to show that tessellation goes
on forever and it 'flows' off the page.
